Claire Everitt, Head of Engagement
Claire Everitt is Head of Engagement which sees her providing advice and hands-on support to a number of local places to help with their information sharing problems.
Before joining the Centre, Claire had a varied background – from starting her career in social housing, working in academia and even being a former librarian. More recently, Claire worked on the Improving Information Sharing and Management (IISaM) project where she liaised with three local areas to help shape good practice and share lessons learned. Claire has also worked for Leicestershire County Council managing its information and technology strategy and policy team.
Claire’s experience in information management policy, information sharing, collaborative working and developing information skills and capabilities make her ideally placed to lead the Engagement Team in breaking down information sharing barriers. Since working at the Centre Claire has worked with a number of central government departments on information sharing projects including the Department of Health and the Department of Work and Pensions.
